Biografie

Prof. Dr. Olaf Prieske absolvierte von 2004 bis 2009 ein Diplomstudium der Sportwissenschaften mit der Spezialisierung Prävention/Rehabilitation an der Universität Potsdam. Nach dem Studium arbeitete er als Health and Fitness Manager bei einem Online-Gesundheitsberatungsunternehmen aus Berlin und als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft an der Professur für Trainings- und Bewegungswissenschaft der Universität Potsdam. Von 2012 bis 2019 war Olaf Prieske akademischer Mitarbeiter an der Professur für Trainings- und Bewegungswissenschaft der Universität Potsdam und promovierte 2015 in der Sportwissenschaft. Darüber hinaus war er Dozent an der Physiotherapieschule Potsdam und referiert regelmäßig bei Fortbildungsmaßnahmen verschiedener Fachverbände (z.B. Deutscher Kanu-Verband, Bund Deutscher Radfahrer, Institut für Angewandte Trainingswissenschaft, Gesellschaft für Orthopädisch Traumatologische Sportmedizin). Zudem ist er Mitglied in der Deutschen Vereinigung für Sportwissenschaft (dvs) und des European College of Sport Science (ECSS). Im Oktober 2019 wurde Olaf Prieske zum Professor für Training und Bewegung an der Fachhochschule für Sport und Management Potsdam ernannt.
